First Responder Training

- Uwchlan Ambulance will he hosting a First Responder training program conducted through the American Safety & Health with PA Modules. The class will run from September 27, 2010 to December 1, 2010 and will be held on Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:30pm to 9:30 pm at Station87. Explorers Get Bike Training

- On Friday, July 2, 2010, four Explorers met with two members of the Uwchlan Ambulance Bike Team for some basic awareness training which would allow them to be able to ride with the Team during a community event. Dying for a Ride Program Van Dedication
JUNE 11
- Uwchlan Ambulance Corps sponsors Dying for a Ride, a program for young drivers that deals with the dangers and consequences of distracted driving. This program is offered free of charge to area schools and community groups. Joint rescue training exercise with Station 6
MAY 17
- On May 17, 2010, West Whiteland Fire Company (Station 6) and Uwchlan Ambulance Corps (Station 87) participated in a joint rescue training exercise. The operation simulated a serious vehicle accident with entrapment and significant injuries to the two occupants. April a busy month for UAC Explorers
MAY 07
- It is well into their second year and the UAC Explorers are showing no signs of slowing. On April 13th the Explorers dedicated one of their training nights to the Uwchlan Ambulance Corp and weeded gardens and spread mulch to brighten up the winter ravaged gardens.
