Uwchlan Ambulance Corps is a non-profit organization that provides Emergency Medical Services in Chester County Pennsylvania. From our two community based locations in Uwchlan and West Whiteland Townships, we provide 24 hour service. Uwchlan Ambulance has four Advanced Life Support/Basic Life Support ambulances and two Advanced Life Support paramedic responder units.
Serving Uwchlan, Upper Uwchlan, West Whiteland, West Pikeland, West Vincent, East Nantmeal and Wallace Townships, we cover nearly 45 square miles ranging from rural to heavily industrialized areas. The 70,000 residents and 60,000 visitors and merchants in central Chester County, Pennsylvania utilize our services approximately 3,000 times annually. In addition, we provide numerous educational opportunities for the community as well as many outreach programs. With the support of 40 active volunteers and 20 full and part time career staff, Uwchlan Ambulance sets the benchmark in the region for Emergency Medical Services.

Busy Night for Uwchlan EMS
DECEMBER 07
- On December 5th at approximately 2010 hours, Uwchlan Ambulance was alerted with Lionville Fire Company for an auto accident. The accident was reported on the PA Turnpike, west bound at the Park Rd. overpass, in Upper Uwchlan Twp. Ambulance 87-1 arrived to find a single vehicle accident with 2 patients. MCI Training
NOVEMBER 18
- On November 14th Uwchlan EMTs experienced how chaotic and overwhelming a mass casualty incident can feel. A training event held by the Ambulance Core introduced personnel to a mass casualty incident consisting of a simulated bleacher collapse in the gymnasium at Downingtown East high school.
