Uwchlan Ambulance Corps is a non-profit volunteer organization that provides Emergency Medical Services. We provide twenty-four hour protection from two community based stations located in Uwchlan and West Whiteland Townships. Uwchlan Ambulance has four Advanced Life Support/Basic Life Support ambulances and two Advanced Life Support paramedic units. Serving Uwchlan, Upper Uwchlan, West Whiteland, West Pikeland, West Vincent, East Nantmeal and Wallace Townships, we cover nearly 45 square miles of territory ranging from rural to heavily industrialized areas. The 70,000 residents and 60,000 visitors and merchants in central Chester County, Pennsylvania utilize our services over 3,000 times annually. In addition, we provide numerous educational opportunities for the community as well as many outreach programs. With the support of 40 active volunteers and 12 full time career staff, Uwchlan Ambulance sets the benchmark in the region for Emergency Medical Services.

It is with great sorrow to announce the passing of Nick Kolokithas, Firefigther/EMT. Nick was an active volunteer and part-time supervisor of Good Fellowship Ambulance, and a volunteer firefighter with 1st West Chester Fire Co and Alert Fire Co. Mass Casualty Drill for Explorer Post 87

Uwchlan Ambulance's explorer post participated in a mass casualty drill using the skills and knowlegde learned over the past couple of months. They utilized their knowlege of the SMART triage system, and other patient care skills. The drill was a mock plane crash with multible patients. MICU 87-6 responds to Accident involving Fire

MICU 87-6, along with Station 6, were disptached for a accident involving fire. Fire and EMS units arrived onscene to find a SUV well involved in fire. Bike Team Members attend IMBA Class

Memebers of the Bike team attended the IMBA (International Police Mountain Bike Association) Class held here at Uwchlan Ambulance. This 32 hour course taught members how to respond in crowded, sometimes challenging environments and bike safety.
