On January 17th at approximately 11:25 PM, a Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Officer was investigating a suspicious vehicle on Strasburg Rd. east of Dutton Mill Road in East Goshen Township, Chester County. During the Officers investigation, the Officer was shot in the hand by a male suspect. The suspect was described as a white male, mid to late twenties, 6'0, husky build no facial hair, short darker hair, wearing a grey pullover hoodie, blue jeans and a baseball hat. The suspect fled the scene in a dark colored older model 4 door Honda, possibly an Accord, with possible Delaware registration
The Citizens Crime Commission is administering a $13,500 reward posted by the Chester County District Attorney's Office, Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Benevolent Association and the Chester County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 11, Lamb McErlane PC & the Citizens Crime Commission.
To be eligible for the reward, information must be called in to the Crime Commission Tipline, and caller must obtain a code number from the operator.
