Daytime Closure of Pikeland Road and Hollow Road for Pipe Replacement

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced that pipe replacement will close Pikeland Road and Hollow Road in Charlestown Township, Chester County.

Weather permitting, drivers are advised of the following travel restrictions:

• Tuesday, June 30, through Thursday, July 2, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Pikeland
Road will be closed and detoured between Church Road and Hollow Road.
During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Church Road, Charlestown
Road, and Hollow Road.

• Monday, July 6, through Wednesday, July 8, from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Hollow
Road will be closed and detoured between Route 29 (State Road) and
Charlestown Road. During the closure, drivers will be directed to use Route 29
(State Road) and Charlestown Road.

Local access will be maintained at all times. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area or along the detour route because backups and delays may occur.
