At 5:52am, UAC was dispatched along with multiple fire companies for a house fire in Uwchlan Township. Deputy 47 (M. Lam) arrived confirming a working fire on the rear deck with extension into the house. UAC units arrived and provided warm shelter for the family members and their pets, and set up rehab for the firefighters. Fire crews faced below freezing temperatures and recent snowfall conditions, increasing the scene safety concerns. Lionville FC and mutual aid companies made an aggressive attack on the fire and prevented it from spreading throughout the entire home. One family member was transported to the hospital for evaluation of minor smoke inhalation and no other injuries were reported.
