Many of our volunteers staff the ambulances as either a primary provider of patient care, driver, aide, or all of the above. However, there are still others who are just as vital to keep UAC running via their administrative contributions.

Volunteer applicants must be at least 14 years of age for our Junior Progam or 16 years of age for regular volunteers.

Background Check Information:
To complete your volunteer PSP background check go to: PSP Background check. Select the PATCH site link under Volunteer Request for Criminal History Check and follow the provided directions.
To complete the Childline History Check go to: Child Abuse History Certification. Select the Apply online for a Pennsylvania Child Abuse Historu Certification and follow the provided directions.
For individuals who have resided in PA for the past 10 years complete the FBI Waiver / Disclosure Statement Application for Unpaid/Volunteer position go to: Disclosure Statement Application for Unpaid-Volunteer Position. Complete the form and submit with application.
For individuals how have not resided in PA for the past 10 years complete the FBI Criminal History Background Check go to: FBI Criminal History Background Check. Follow the directions on the page to schedule your finger printing to complete the check.
ALL BACKGROUND CHECKS MUST HAVE BEEN COMPLETED WITHIN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.
