| Uwchlan Ambulance Corps is proud to announce that it has been awarded multiple grants totaling more than $868,000 to support the purchase of critical emergency medical equipment.
The first award is an Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) in the amount of $362,441, which will be used toward the purchase of a new ambulance. In addition, Uwchlan Ambulance Corps has been awarded $506,043 through the Local Share Account (LSA) Statewide Grant Program, funding that will support the purchase of an additional ambulance and two cardiac monitors.
Ambulances and cardiac monitors represent two of the organization’s most significant capital expenditures. These grant awards will substantially offset the Corps’ capital budget while enhancing its ability to deliver high-quality, reliable emergency medical services to the community.
Uwchlan Ambulance Corps extends its sincere appreciation to Pennsylvania State Representative Danielle Otten, State Senator Katie Muth, the Chester County Economic Development Council, and all those who worked behind the scenes to support these vital projects.
As these initiatives move forward, Uwchlan Ambulance Corps will continue to share updates on the progress of these purchases and the positive impact they will have on operations and patient care. |
