Training & Education

Uwchlan Ambulance offers a variety of different training opportunities for everyone from the layperson to the most experienced healthcare providers. We also offer a variety of American Heart Association (AHA) courses.

We are able to host any of the more than 300 approved Pennsylvania Department of Health Continuing Education Courses for EMS providers. We hold continuing education classes on the fourth Thursday of every month, free of charge to any first responder (police, fire, EMS) with any level of certification (first aid – pre-hospital physician).

In addition, we are an EMS Training Institute. We offer EMR, EMT, and AEMT courses each year. Successful completion of these semester long courses allows the student to be eligible to test to become state / nationally certified to the level of the course they completed.

Thanks to the support of the West Pharmaceutical Services, we are able to offer FREE first aid and basic CPR / AED classes that are open to the community and held at our station.
