Uwchlan Ambulance Corps will be hosting an American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) Instructor Development course next month! If you are interested in becoming a CPR & First Aid Instructor, this is the class for you! Designed for health care providers, current instructors of other disciplines, and professional educators, this course will give the successful student a strong foundation to teach the various skills required to pass the ASHI certification courses.
Pre-Requisites: Valid ASHI Provider certifications in the ares the participant wishes to instruct.
Course Dates:
*Please note: Students must attend all course dates AND be monitored while teaching at a separate date / time to be determined between UAC and the student.
- Monday May 1, 6-10 pm
- Wednesday May 3, 6-10 pm
- Monday May 8, 6-10 pm
- Wednesday May 10, 6-10 pm
Tuition: $150 *
*Tuition may be waived with signed agreement to provide 10 hours of instructor time, unpaid. Instructor monitoring time does NOT count towards 10 hours of unpaid time. Contact UAC Training Coordinator for more information.
