Uwchlan Ambulance Corps is offering the International Trauma Life Support (ITLS) Course August 5 – 7, 2016! ITLS is accepted internationally as the standard training course for pre-hospital trauma care.
This course gives the student the knowledge and hands-on skills to take better care of trauma patients. The course stresses rapid assessment, appropriate intervention and identification of immediate life threats. The ITLS framework for rapid, appropriate and effective trauma care is a global standard that works in any situation.
The ITLS course combines classroom learning, hands-on skills stations, and assessment stations that put learning to work in simulated trauma scenarios. This course includes the all new 8th edition course manual with in-depth content written and edited by trauma care experts based on current research. Spend an exciting weekend with us learning how to be the best trauma provider you can be! This course is appropriate for all levels of pre-hospital providers and Emergency Department personnel from Emergency Medical Responders, to Physicians, there is something for everyone to learn.
